About The Release
This song was Released on June 12, 2026, my 19th birthday. I wrote this single as a way to acknowledge that I am getting older, becoming an adult (I am still grasping onto my childhood like crazy). As a producer, I wanted to challenge myself regarding the sound of this song, as I have never made something that has a sound quite like this
Inspirations
One of the biggest inspirations for this song was J.Cole, specifically with his songs where he is singing over a guitar, like the 39 intro off of "The Fall Off", as well as "Snow On Tha Bluff"

As a raw, off the cuff homage to the song "Snow On Tha Bluff", I chose to screenshot my lyrics from the exact document that I wrote them in
Release Rollout
The rollout for this single consisted with me taking videos previously filmed in my camera roll (including some future teasers), and releasing day by day Instagram reels with each video slowly revealing the title of the song up until the release of the song. I also filmed a "full music video" (it's goofy but I love it), and hopefully that is out by the time you are reading this.
